A big part of our mission is based around education and sustainability.

While our business does and is setup to produce and sell a product set, our broad scope mission is to combine sustainability, education and community through the outcomes and endeavours of the business. As a result, we run workshops with secondary education students to;

  • teach sustainability ethics, material ethics and impart a deep respect for materials and their considered applications,

  • impart knowledge of native ecology through both first nations and colonial sources, (as best as we can)

  • produce instruments for both the music department & to donate to disenfranchised/displaced youth community members and,

  • to teach design methodology in a design build prototyping format.

By making such programs available we believe that we have the opportunity to pass on sustainable methods, practices and ethics to young members of our community during one of the most impressionable periods of their life being ages 15-18. This opportunity and lineage of work is core to what we aim to do and how we aim to grow the business.

Please get in touch if you'd like to know more about what we do in this space.
